This past weekend at New York Comic-Con, we got our first look at the AMC spin-off series, The Walking Dead: Dead City (previously titled Isle of the Dead), which is the story that will follow Lauren Cohan’s Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan on their journey into New York. Friday Night Lights actor Gaius Charles is also in the Dead City cast.

The series is being showrun by Eli Jorné (Wilfred, Son of Zorn), and it is scheduled to debut in April next year. The six-episode first season of Dead City has been shooting in nearby New Jersey for the past several weeks.

We don’t have a full synopsis of the series yet, but the photos of the show look pretty cool. Check them out below, and let us know what you think.
