First Look Preview of The New STAR WARS: THE HIGH REPUBLIC Comic Series
A first-look preview has been shared for Marvel’s new Star Wars: The High Republic comic series. The first issue kicks off the new story that is part of Phase II of Star Wars: The High Republic. It was written by Cavan Scott and features artwork by Ario Anindito.
These first pages from the comic come from StarWars.com, and it introduces Jedi Vildar Mac as he struggles with nightmares “brought on by his youth while en route to the Holy City on Jedha. Although many visit the Pilgrim Moon seeking sanctuary and spiritual rebirth, for Mac it’s a posting, decreed by the Jedi Order…”
There’s a second comic series in development titled Star Wars: The High Republic -- The Blade, which will reveal the secret history of the fan-favorite High Republic Jedi named Porter Engle, a.k.a. Blade of Bardotta.
