There’s a new film adaptation of Stephen King’s dark tale about evil murderous kids and demonic cornfield, Children of the Corn. Today we have a first look at the film to share with you with a collection of photos.

In this new take on the story, which serves as a prequel, “a psychopathic 12-year-old girl in a small town in Nebraska recruits all the other children and goes on a bloody rampage, killing the corrupt adults and anyone else who opposes her. A bright high schooler who won’t go along with the plan is the town’s only hope of survival.”

The movie was directed by Kurt Wimmer, and it actually got a limited theatrical run this past October. I honestly never even saw it open up in any theaters, and I heard nothing about its released. In fact, I never even saw a trailer for the film, and I can’t find one online.

The new Children of the Corn movie stars young actors Elena Kampouris (Before I Fall), Kate Moyer (When Hope Calls), Callan Mulvey (Avengers: Endgame) and Bruce Spence (The Road Warrior). It will be the eleventh entry in the series.

There’s no word on when the film will be released on VOD or streaming, but these photos offer a new look.
