Marvel has released the first poster for Ant-Man and The Wasp and the art was created by the talented Andy Park. It's a pretty energetic poster with a lot of action going on. It's got Giant-Man punching a helicopter causing it to explode and The Wasp kicking some villainous thug in the face. It also shows that they are surrounded by an army.
The studio recently announced that Michelle Pfeiffer is joining the film as Janet Van Dyne, the wife of Michael Douglas’s Hank Pym and the original Wasp. Then there's Laurence Fishburne, who is playing Dr. Bill Foster, who was an assistant to both Tony Stark and Hank Pym in the comics. He eventually takes on Pym’s Giant Man abilities and becomes a superhero known as Goliath.
They will join Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lily as Hope Pym, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, Michael Pena as Luis, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, T.I. as Dave, Randall Park as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jimmy Woo, Hannah John-Kamen as the Ghost, and Walton Goggins.
I'm a big fan of the first movie and I'm so excited to see how this sequel turns out. I can't help but think that it will be even better and more entertaining than the first one.
Peyton Reed is set to direct Ant-Man and the Wasp, and it will be released in theaters on July 6th, 2018.
