First Promo Art for New PREDATOR Movie - “You’ll Never See Him Coming”
The official Predator Facebook page recently posted what appears to be the first piece of promo art for the upcoming new Predator movie being developed over at Fox.
The poster reads “You’ll Never See Him Coming,” and it pretty much implies that the title of the film will be The Predator. The image came along with the caption, “Here we go again, bro.”
The movie is currently being developed by Shane Black (Iron Man 3) and Fred Dekker, who both worked together on the classic 1980s film Monster Squad. Black will direct the film, and one of the most recent updates we had on the movie talked about how it will have a fresh perspective and reinvent the franchise. Producer John Davis previously said this about the script:
“I think it’s genius and I think it’s entertaining, and what it did is recreate a famous franchise in a different, interesting way; looking at it from a different light. He’s just an amazing writer-director. He’s got a way of looking at this that makes you excited again. I love this franchise. It was the first movie I ever did. I remember in being in the jungle with Arnold [Schwarzenegger] as a 28-year-old and going, ‘This is a fun business!’…Shane’s amazing. He’s an amazing storyteller.”
You can read all about that here. I’m actually really excited to see what Black has planned for this franchise. I think he'll end up giving fans something awesome.
