First Promo Spot For CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA Part 2 and Premiere Date Revealed
It wasn’t that long ago that Netflix released the fantastically dark supernatural series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. But, the creative team behind it have been hard at work on the development of Season 2 and Netflix has released the first promo spot giving us our first look at what is in store for Sabrina Spellman.
The teaser also reveals that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 will premiere on April 5th on Netflix!
I loved the first season of the series! It’s ended up be much darker than I expected and I enjoyed how they handled it. The series definitely isn’t for everyone as it dives into the dark world of horror and there are a lot of satanic elements.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.
The series stars Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men), Lucy Davis (Wonder Woman) as Hilda Spellman, Miranda Otto (Annabelle: Creation) as Zelda Spellman, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) as Mary Wardell, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood, Tati Gabrielle as Prudence, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle and Bronson Pinchot.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale) is the writer of the series and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this second chapter of the story. I hope that Season 2 won’t be the end of the series! I’d love to see it keep going!
