First Promo Spot For Eric Bana and Connie Britton's Bravo Series DIRTY JOHN
Bravo TV has brought us our first look at the limited series Dirty John. I am super excited for this. I listened to the podcast of the same name a few months ago, and it was so crazy! It tells the true story of Debra Newell, who will be played by the incredible Connie Britton, a self-made Orange County interior designer, and her rocky relationship with the charming and sociopathic John Meehan, who will be played by Eric Bana.
Dirty John comes from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard. "It centers on John Meehan (Bana), a handsome and romantic charmer who sweeps Debra Newell (Britton) off her feet and pulls her into his web of lies. The series chronicles the true story of how a romance with Meehan spiraled into secrets, denial and manipulation."
I don't want to give too much of the story away, because it is such a crazy, twisted tale. But it's definitely on my list of shows I'm super excited about. I think the casting is amazing, and even though we don't get to see Britton and Bana in the teaser, it still has me really excited for the release of season one.
