First Teaser For GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS Features Millie Bobby Brown Trying to Reach Monarch
The first teaser has been released for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The first footage from the film features Millie Bobby Brown as Madison Russel attempting to contact Monarch on a radio and she doesn't like what she hears on the other end. It's a terrifying sound of carnage that just gets progressively worse and it scares the hell out of her.
We don't see any giant monsters in the teaser, but it certainly does a good job of setting the tone of the film. Here's the synopsis:
The new story follows the heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient superspecies, thought to be mere myths, rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of Monsters is being directed by Michael Dougherty and it also stars Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins. It will be in theaters on May 31, 2019.
