First Teaser Poster for JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE Sequel
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was surprisingly good. I will admit that I didn’t think it was going to be very good, but it showed me. They’re working on a third movie in the Jumanji franchise now, and they’ve released a poster for it.
The poster reveals one of two things. Either the third film will feature the same video game characters played by Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black inside the world of Jumanji with the jaguar statue once again playing a big role in which case they will really need a good story to convince me that this is not Welcome to the Jungle, or the poster is only showing us things from Welcome to the Jungle with no clues as to what the future movie holds.
I know many fans have thought the video game characters would enter our world, but the poster seems to indicate that we’re going back into Jumanji instead. I have no idea what the story will be, but I hope it’s good. Maybe we’ll see the characters from the game without anyone from our world controlling them and they contact kids in our world somehow in an effort to try to save their world. I feel like I just explained the plot of a million movies, but none of them have taken place in Jumanji. What’s your best guess as to what the plot will be?
The film is currently slated for a release on Christmas 2019.
