First Teaser Trailer Netflix's Series Adaptation of THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB
We’ve got the first teaser trailer for you to check out for the Netflix series adaptation of The Baby-Sitters Club, based on the hit book series of the same name. The story will follow best friends Kristy Thomas (Sophie Grace), Mary-Anne Spier (Malia Baker), Claudia Kishi (Momona Tamada), Stacey McGill (Shay Rudolph), and Dawn Schafer (Xochitl Gomez) as they embark on their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut.
They are joined in the cast by Alicia Silverstone, who plays Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer, single-mother to Kristy Thomas, and Mark Feuerstein as her love-interest, Watson Brewer. The series is based on the books by Ann M. Martin, who came on board to write the series alongside Rachel Shukert, with Lucia Aniello directing.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun series for girls of this age, as well as fans of the books and the previous movie and series that came before it. Check out the teaser below, and watch The Baby-Sitters Club on Netflix on July 3rd.
