First Teaser Trailer for SMILE 2 Reveals Naomi Scott’s Popstar Character Skye Riley
Paramount Pictures has kicked off the marketing campaign for Smile 2 with a teaser trailer that introduces us to Naomi Scott’s popstar character Skye Riley in the movie.
The teaser is promoting a new song by the fictional popstar titled “Blood on White Satin.” The sequel centers around Riley who finds herself being terrorized by the Smile curse of death.
There’s nothing really scary about the video, but there is a point where it cuts to flashes of the house from the first movie where Rose comes face to face with the supernatural Smile monster. Another brief cut away shows a hand reaching for a weight.
I’ve seen some additional footage from this movie that shows us how her glamorous celebrity world turns into a completely hellish nightmare.
The announced cast for Smile 2 also includes Kyle Gallner (Smile), Rosemarie DeWitt (The Staircase), Lukas Gage (The White Lotus), and Dylan Gelula (Dream Scenario), alongside Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead) and Miles Gutierrez-Riley (The Wilds).
Smile 2 will be helmed by returning director Parker Finn; I also include a photo of a billboard promoting the film.
