First Teaser Trailer For the Live-Action Adaptation of the Anime BLEACH
We haven't really heard that much about Warner Bros. Japan's live-action adaptation of the hit manga/anime Bleach since it was first announced. I know fans have been waiting to see something from it, but for the most part, it's been pretty quite.
That all changes today with the release of the first teaser trailer give us our first look at some footage from the film. It may be brief, but it's enough to let hardcore fans of the series form an opinion.
It only offers us a couple of cool shots with the main character Ichigo Kurosaki cutting off the hand of a Hollow with his soul-cutting sword, Zanpakuto. It also offers a close-up shot of the character standing in front of a wall of fire. The visuals actually look pretty cool! Here's the synopsis:
Ichigo Kurosaki never asked for the ability to see ghosts—he was born with the gift. When his family is attacked by a Hollow—a malevolent lost soul—Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, dedicating his life to protecting the innocent and helping the tortured spirits themselves find peace.
Hopefully, the film goes above and beyond what we expect from these live-action anime film adaptations that we've been getting. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
