First Three DRAGON QUEST Games Are Coming to the Switch
Next weekend, Dragon Quest fans are in for a treat. Square Enix recently announced that the first three games in the series, Dragon Quest; Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line; and Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation, are coming to the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop. These titles were all originally released on the Famicom and NES in the 1980s and called the Erdrick Trilogy.
According to Engadget, the Switch versions are all based on the mobile ports released in 2004 that were later ported to Android and iOS. This port features 16-bit graphics instead of the more classic 8-bit version.
Dragon Quest will be available for $4.99, Dragon Quest II for $6.49, and Dragon Quest III for $12.49. Fans will be able to relive them on September 27. This is the same date as the release of Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition. Are you excited to play the games that started it all?
