First Trailer For Blumhouse's Horror-Themed FANTASY ISLAND Movie

Blumhouse and director Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare, Kick-Ass 2) have taken the classic TV series Fantasy Island and turned it into a new horror thriller. We’ve got the first trailer for it to share with you today and it actually looks like it will be a really good movie!

I honestly thought I was going to be rolling my eyes at this trailer, but instead… it unexpectedly hooked me! They’ve taken the concept of Fantasy Island and twisted it into an intriguing demented story and I’m looking forward to checking out.

Here’s the synopsis:

“The Enigmatic Mr. Roarke (played by Michael Peña) makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.”

Wadlow co-wrote the script with Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs. The movie also stars Lucy Hale (Truth or Dare), Michael Rooker, Charlotte McKinneyParisa Fitz-Henley, and Austin Stowell.

Fantasy Island opens in theaters on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020. Check out the trailer and let us know if you’ll be checking out the film when it’s released.
