First Trailer for COBRA KAI Season 5 and 2022 Premiere Date Announced!
Netflix has released the first trailer for Cobra Kai Season 5, which features Terry Silver’s (Thomas Ian Griffith) Cobra Kai taking over the Valley! But don’t worry, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) has teamed up with his old rival Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) to help take them down. Silver isn’t going to make it easy for them, though.
As Daniel and Chozen are working on Silver, Johnny (William Zabka) takes a trip to Mexico with his son Robby (Tanner Buchanan) to try and find Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) and bring him home. It looks like fans are in for another exciting new season!
Cobra Kai co-creator Hayden Schlossberg previously talked about leading up to the events of the upcoming season saying:
"When Daniel went to Okinawa [in Cobra Kai Season 3], we saw that Chozen had lived this life of shame, coming off the events of Karate Kid II. And that Daniel coming to Okinawa gave him an opportunity to redeem himself in his eyes. And we always felt that he showed him a couple moves, but he's always going to feel that responsibility to help Daniel."
"And so, the fact that at the end of Season 4, things are worse than they've ever been. Cobra Kai is more popular than it's ever been, with Terry Silver relishing it and in full force and Daniel supposedly having to shut down Miyagi Do. That when you think about it from Daniel's perspective, what does he have to come back from this?"
It was also announced that Cobra Kai Season 5 will be released on September 9th, and I can’t wait! I’ve enjoyed the hell out of this show and I’m excited to see where this next chapter of the story takes these characters! Check out the trailer!
