First Trailer for Dog Film THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN Adapted from Best-Selling Novel

Here’s the trailer for a lovely little film that my kids are going to want to see, but never will, because I refuse to watch it. Not because it looks bad (it doesn’t), and not because I don’t love dogs (I do). It’s because I love them too much.

This trailer made me cry. If I saw the movie, I would cry. Not just cry, but ugly sob, and I just can’t do it again. Have you seen My Dog Skip? If you saw it in theaters and there was a teenager wailing in the center row of the theater, it was me. I get that this is a feel-good movie, and it would probably make a normal person feel good, but I’m not normal. Let’s start over.

Here’s the trailer for a lovely little film that you’ll want to see. The Art of Racing in the Rain is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Garth Stein. The story is from the point of view of a dog named Enzo, who loves his life of being a racecar driver’s companion. The cast includes Kevin Costner who voices the dog, Enzo, and Milo Ventimiglia as his owner Denny, with Amanda Seyfried.

Watch the trailer below and let me know if you are a normal person that enjoys a sweet movie about a dog.

Based on the best-selling novel by Garth Stein, THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN is a heartfelt tale narrated by a witty and philosophical dog named Enzo (voiced by Kevin Costner).
