First Trailer & Poster for Tarsem's SELF/LESS Starring Ryan Reynolds & Ben Kingsley

Focus Features has released the first teaser poster and trailer for Tarsem's new film Self/Less, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kingsley. The director, known for movies like The Cell, The Fall, and Immortals, tackles another science fiction concept in this film, which has Kingsley's character's consciousness transferred into Reynolds' body. It doesn't have quite the visual flair that we've come to expect from Tarsem's movies so far (say what you will about his filmography, but the man can compose a breathtaking image), and looks a little more traditional than a lot of his other films. I'm excited to see it, though, because I like everyone involved, and the trailer definitely looks intriguing. Check it out below.

In this provocative psychological science fiction thriller, an extremely wealthy man (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). But all is not as it seems when he starts to uncover the mystery of the body's origin and the organization that will kill to protect its cause.

Self/Less arrives in theaters sometime this summer. For more, visit the movie's official website.
