First Trailer Released For Netflix's CASTLEVANIA Season 2!
Producer Adi Shankar has released the first trailer for Netflix's Castlevania Season 2 and it looks awesome! The trailer came with the following note from the producer:
"We did not set the bar at 'good enough/... We're here to create the greatest videogame adaptation of all time. Who's with us?"
Well, they certainly did a great job with the first season and, as you'll see, Season 2 is looking pretty damn great as well!
The anime series is based on the 1989 game Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, which takes place in 1476. The story follows a hunter named Trevor Belmont who tries to take out Dracula.
Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar."
If you haven't watched Season 1 of the series yet, there are only four episodes so you can easily catch up before Season 2 hits. Season 2 will premiere on the streaming service on October 26th.
