FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S 2 Shaping Up to Be SCREAM Reunion as Skeet Ulrich Joins the Cast
The sequel Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 graced Hall H at Comic-Con this year, and a pretty cool casting announcement was made. Skeet Ulrich (Scream, Riverdale) is joining the sequel in an undisclosed role, but he did give us some info on who his character will be.
The actor explained, "I will say, I play somebody with a very particular and specific past, and somebody who has a deep emotional tie to what's going on. Other than that, I'm not really allowed to say. I'll defer to your lawyer."
The hardcore fans may have theories about who this is, but I don’t have any guesses. The reason why Ulrich’s casting is notable though, is because when he and Matthew Lillard, who plays Steve Raglan/William Afton in FNAF, were teens starting out their careers in Hollywood, they both starred in the first Scream film together. This is a cool reunion for the pair, and it will be interesting to see how their characters interact in this sequel.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is set to hit theatres later this year on December 5, 2025.
