FOR ALL MANKIND Season 4 Teaser Is a Helios Recruitment Video - "Destiny Awaits"
I was wondering what’s been going on with the Apple TV+ sci-fi drama series For All Mankind! It’s been over a year since out last update, and now the first teaser has been released. This teaser comes in the form of a Helios recruitment video.
The series explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended. The series presents an aspirational world where NASA astronauts, engineers, and their families find themselves in the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate history timeline -- a world in which the USSR beats the US to the moon.
The third season took place in the early ’90s with a high-octane race to a new planetary frontier: Mars. The Red Planet became the new front in the Space Race not only for the US and the Soviet Union but also an unexpected new entrant with a lot to prove and even more at stake. The characters found themselves going head-to-head as their ambitions for Mars come into conflict and their loyalties tested, creating a pressure cooker that built to a climactic conclusion.
When it comes to Season 4, the synopsis reads: “Rocketing into the new millennium in the eight years since Season 3, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former foes into partners. Now 2003, the focus of the space program has turned to the capture and mining of extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions between the residents of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they are working towards.”
For All Mankind was created by Ronald D. Moore along with series showrunners Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert. It also stars Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Casey W. Johnson, Coral Peña with Wrenn Schmidt. Daniel Stern and Toby Kebbell also joined the cast.
The 10-episode fourth season of the series from Ronald D. Moore, Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert will debut globally on Friday, November 10 on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through January 12, 2024.
