For Some Reason Marvel Comics Spoils The Ending to SECRET EMPIRE in NY Times Article

I've been keeping up with Secret Empire since the beginning. I've been intrigued at every step. It shows a character who we have known and loved for years in quite a different light. What Steve Rogers would have been like if he was secretly raised Hydra. One of the most important things was that he wasn't completely evil when he took over. He had some good in him, as he was worthy enough to lift Mjolnir. But, it looks like he's been going down a dark path.

The New York Times recently revealed a special scene from the newest issue of the Secret Empire comic which will be released on the 30th. The scene showed the good ol' Cap that we know and love beating the ever loving crap out of Hydra Cap with none other than Mjolnir. Here is the art that was revealed:

Now, as of writing, I haven't read the new comic, so I don't know how good Cap comes back or how he gets Mjolnir. Last I saw Hydra Cap had put on a super suit powered by the Cosmic Cube and was ready to do some hero hunting. I'm excited to read the finale. It should be exciting to see what happens to everyone and the aftermath of this Hydra invasion. It has been fun to see Hydra prominently featured as a villain, as well as seeing a different side to Hydra that resonates with America nowadays.

Axel Alonso, Marvel’s editor in chief talked about Secret Empire saying:

"We understood the story would challenge readers, but we also know how it ended. We also thought the story had something important to say about democracy, freedom and the core American values that Captain America embodies.”

I'm excited to read it, and we'll be sure to give a recap of the entire event once it is over.
