Forest Whitaker Joins Tom Hardy in the Netflix Crime Drama Film HAVOC
Forest Whitaker has been cast to star alongside Tom Hardy in Netflix’s upcoming crime drama film Havoc. The movie comes from writer, director, and producer Gareth Evans, who brought us The Raid action film franchise.
In the story, “after a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.”
Hardy will be taking on the role of detective. There’s no word on who Whitaker will be playing, but the guy is a hell of a great actor and whoever he’s playing, he’ll be great! Maybe he’ll be taking on the villain role.
Whitaker currently stars in the Epix series Godfather of Harlem as legendary gangster Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson.
