Former CHUCK Actress Yvonne Strahovski Joins Shane Black's THE PREDATOR
Chuck and Dexter co-star Yvonne Strahovski is the latest actress to jump on the chopper in writer and director Shane Black's The Predator. According to THR, she's in final negotiations to join the sci-fi action thriller. She will be playing Jacob Tremblay's mom in the film.
The report also has a bit of information on one of the plot points in the film. They say that Tremblay plays "a troubled boy who is accidentally drawn into the conflict with the fierce alien creatures by his father — her ex-husband," who is played by Boyd Holbrook.
I'm not exactly sure how the kid is accidentally drawn into the conflict between the military and the Predator, but we'll eventually find out! Strahovski also joins the previously cast Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, and Olivia Munn. Black recently shared a photo of this cast that you can check out if you missed it.
It's great to see Strahovski land a role in a big movie like this. I've always liked her, and hopefully she gets to see some bloody action in The Predator! She could kick some ass for her son.
The Predator will be released in theaters in February 2018.
