Former Marvel Exec Jeremy Latcham to Produce DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Movie

Hasbro has teamed up with Paramount Pictures to create a Dungeons & Dragons movie. The film is being written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein and now Marvel Studios vet Jeremy Latcham has come on board as a producer. Latcham’s credits include Bad Times at the El Royale as well as Marvel classics The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

I’m very intrigued to see how this turns out as Daley, Goldstein, and Latcham all worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming and now they’re reuniting for D&D! Homecoming was a good film, so this has a good shot at being a lot of fun. Nick Meyer of eOne, Hasbro’s global entertainment studio, released the following statement:

Jeremy is a massively talented producer with a track record of creating true-to-brand films with size and scope that resonate with audiences and excel on a global scale. In our exciting new era with Hasbro, we’re thrilled to begin this new partnership and look forward to sharing the amazing projects that are to come.

What do you think of this move? Are you excited for D&D?
