Former NASA Engineer Builds Bait Package For Porch Thieves

If you haven’t had a package stolen off your front porch, you probably know someone who has. The people who go onto other people’s property and steal their packages are pretty much the lowest of the low, so when this video started circulating, it really got a good response from everyone on the internet.

We’ve heard of people putting dog poop in packages, which is a good and fun idea in and of itself, but this former NASA employee Mark Rober really took the technology a step further when it comes to bait packages. If you haven’t seen the video yet, watch here:

This might be my Magnum Opus. Go to https://NordVPN.com/MarkRober and use code MARKROBER to get 75% off a 3 year plan and an extra month for free. My buddy Sean posted a video with more details of the build: https://youtu.be/IpMxOmUcfOI High Speed camera courtesy of https://www.aimed-research.com/. They rent high speed cameras at killer prices.

My favorite part about it is that he paid homage to the Christmas classic Home Alone when he addressed the package to the wet bandits themselves, Marv and Harry, and had the return address from Kevin McCallister, and the real house used in the movie.

Glitter bomb and fart spray was pretty ingenious, and so was getting the whole thing on camera. Hats off to this guy. I hope all these pranks make these porch thieves think twice.
