Four Women Plan a Dangerous Heist in Great-Looking New Crime Thriller WIDOWS

The first trailer has been released for an intense new crime thriller called Widows. The film follows four women with nothing in common except a debt that was left behind by their dead husbands' criminal activities. The film is described as a "blistering, modern-day thriller set against the backdrop of crime, passion and corruption."

The story is set in contemporary Chicago, "amid a time of turmoil, tensions build when Veronica (Viola Davis), Alice (Elizabeth Debicki), Linda (Michelle Rodriguez) and Belle (Cynthia Erivo) take their fate into their own hands and conspire to forge a future on their own terms."

The movie is set to be directed by Academy Award-winning director Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave) and co-writer and bestselling author Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl). The movie also stars Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta, Hotel Artemis), Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Black Panther), Garret Dillahunt (Deadwood), Carrie Coon (Fargo, Avengers: Infinity War), Jacki Weaver, Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo with Robert Duvall and Liam Neeson.

Widows will be released in theaters on November 16th.
