FOX Cancels SON OF ZORN After One Season

The unique live action/animation comedy Son of Zorn is no more. FOX announced the cancellation today after only one season.

The show was about a cartoon barbarian warrior (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), that was trying to assimilate into real-life Orange County where his son and ex-wife lived. It was created by Wilfred‘s Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne, and executive-produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Lego Movie).

Entertainment Weekly reports that FOX was not happy with how Zorn was performing in the ratings.

This is kind of a bummer, as I thought the show was pretty funny and very unique. It definitely had room for improvement and we could have easily seen that had FOX renewed.
