FOX Is Bringing Six Second Ads To Television

Fox is making history as Deadline reports they will be the first television network to run six-second advertisements on its networks and On Demand services. Taking a page out of YouTube's book, the company has embraced the model and believes that 6-second ads are profitable for advertisers as well as less annoying to viewers. By the way, for those of you about to rejoice and think Fox is going exclusively into short ads...that's not what's happening here. Really, this is just news because it shows YouTube has influenced advertising enough for the big networks to jump in and start implementing their ad tactics into their own programming.
