Fox Is Developing an Animated Series from Comedian Jermaine Fowler
It looks like Fox is getting a new animated series. The new series comes from comedian Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts, BoJack Horseman), who serves as creator, writer, and executive producer. According to Variety, the series is going to based on Fowler’s growing up.
The prospective series is loosely based on Fowler’s formidable years growing up in a working class town in Prince George’s County, Maryland, with his family.
This has some potential. Sadly, those are all the details that we know about this series outside of the fact that Fox has put the series in development.
Fowler will appear next year opposite Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield in Judas and the Black Messiah, a biopic about the assassination of Black Panther Party leader Fred Hampton.
