Fox Wants to Adapt NIGHT AT THE MUSUEM, ICE AGE, and DIARY OF A WIMPY KID Into TV Series

It’s not unheard of for companies to continue a film or film franchise as a TV show instead of making more movies. This allows them to sell more merchandise without constantly shelling out billions of dollars. The latest properties that may get this treatment are from Fox. Namely, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Ice Age, and Night at the Museum.

Now, I can’t speak for Wimpy Kid since I’ve never seen the films, but as far as the other films go, please don’t do it, Fox. Night at the Museum is has been a fun and enjoyable franchise. Ice Age was also fun, but with how many sequels there were, I felt it was already losing appeal.

I feel like most of the franchises that make the move from the big screen to the small screen are just disappointing. Hopefully, Disney will be able to put the kibosh on these projects, but if they get started before the Disney deal is done, they might not. But, I guess they could always end up on Disney's streaming service. They are looking to fill it with content!

Do you disagree with me? Who would you like to see star in each of these series since you know they’re not getting the same stars as the movies?
