Fox's NEW MUTANTS Cast Blu Hunt to Play Dani Moonstar

Fox has cast another mutant character for their New Mutant film being directed by Josh Boone. Blu Hunt is relatively unknown, having only starred in guest roles on a couple TV series including The Originals, but she definitely has a great look that fits the role that she'll be playing.

The announcement comes from THR, who reports that Hunt will be taking on the part of Dani Moonstar, who is a native American telepath and who's primary antagonist is Demon Bear. This is one of the villains that we know the new mutants will be battling in the film, so expect Moonstar to play a relatively important role in the story. 

Dani will be joining a cast of mutants with the likes of Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, and Henry Zaga as Sunspot. This cast is rounding out to look more diverse and interesting. Plus they seem a bit more adult. I'm excited for Blu Hunt, as it's a great stepping stone for her in her career.
