Frankie Muniz Teases MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE Revival With Set Photo Featuring His TV Brothers
The Wilkerson boys are back together again! Frankie Muniz just gave fans a nostalgic jolt with a new set photo from the upcoming Malcolm In The Middle revival, showing him reunited with Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield, who are returning as Francis and Reese.
Muniz shared the photo on X, writing, “I was told not to post this yet, but then I remembered the theme song. I’m just too excited for y’all to see the new episodes and I miss my brothers.”
The fun caption is a nod to the show’s iconic theme song “Boss of Me” by They Might Be Giants, which famously declares, “You’re not the boss of me, now!”
The revival, which hits Disney+ in December, marks the first time the Malcolm In The Middle cast has been on screen together in nearly two decades.
Alongside Muniz’s return as the gifted but perpetually exasperated middle child, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek are back as chaotic parents Hal and Lois. Caleb Ellsworth-Clark joins the family as Dewey, taking over the role originally played by Erik Per Sullivan.
The limited, four-episode series from 20th Television and New Regency is timed to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary. Muniz wrapped filming earlier this year, sharing that reprising the role felt like stepping right back into Malcolm’s shoes.
Story details reveal that the revival will follow Malcolm and his daughter, played by Keeley Karsten, as they’re pulled into the familiar family mayhem when Hal and Lois demand everyone’s attendance for their 40th wedding anniversary.
It’s safe to say fans are just as excited as Muniz to see the Wilkersons back together again.
