Freaky Trailer for the Horror Mystery Thriller SO COLD THE RIVER
Saban Films has released the trailer for a "bone-chilling, supernatural thriller" titled So Cold the River. It’s based on the book by Michael Koryta, and the story revolves around a documentary filmmaker named Erica who’s “hired to profile a reclusive, dying millionaire becomes obsessed with her subject and uncovers the shocking secrets his hometown wanted buried, unleashing an evil force with devastating consequences.”
As Erica is investigating the past of the billionaire, she meets one of his descendants and learns of a familial curse of mysterious suicides and deaths. She also starts drinking from an old antique bottle filled with water from a local spring and she starts to have nightmarish visions and unleashes an unspeakable evil.
The movie was directed by Paul Shoulberg (The Good Catholic and Ms. White Light ), and it looks like an entertaining and creepy horror movie. The film stars Bethany Joy Lenz, Katie Sarife, Deanna Dunagan, Andrew J. West, & Alysia Reiner.
So Cold the River will be released in select US theaters and on VOD starting March 25th, 2022.
