Fred Savage and Howie Mandel Want To Make a LITTLE MONSTERS Sequel

I’m sure most of you remember the 1989 movie Little Monsters, which starred Fred Savage and Howie Mandel. I was a huge fan of that movie when I was a kid! It’s been a long time since I’ve watched it and I think it would be fun to revisit the movie.

Savage played Brian, a kid who becomes friends with the crazy monster living under his bed, Maurice, played by Howie Mandel. During the night, Maurice takes Brian into the netherworld of monsters, where they have a great time making mischief in the lives of sleeping children. As they do all of this Brian discovers that he himself is turning into a monster.

Well, it turns out that Savage and Mandel are totally up for making a sequel! During a recent interview with CB, Savage was asked if that would be something he’d like to do, and he responded: “You lead the charge, we’ll be right behind you!" He went on to talk about how much fun it was for him to make the original movie and how it’s amazing that people still watch and love the film.

Mandel then quote-tweeted the original video and just replied, "I'm in!" So, the main cast is a go for a Little Monsters sequel set 30 years later! Now we just need a studio to jump on board! I’d personally love to see a sequel made to see what happened with this character all these years later.

Would you like to see a Little Monsters sequel with Fred Savage and Howie Mandel?
