Fred Savage, Keegan-Michael Key, and Cobie Smulders On Board For Netflix Series FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE
Netflix is getting some TV series veterans for its latest comedy about life after graduation. THR says Friends From College has acquired Key and Peele's Keegan-Michael Key, How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders, and The Wonder Years' Fred Savage to star in a show that follows the middle-aged life of Harvard graduates. The show will be headed up by Nick Stoller who directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Neighbors and Judd Apatow's cancelled television comedy Undeclared.
Stoller and his wife will be developing the eight episode series which chronicles a group of Harvard graduates and the success (or lack of) they are experiencing in their post-graduate lives. The show is scheduled to begin production this fall.
I'm excited about this show! I'm fresh off a Wonder Years binge and I've always loved Key and Peele! I'll learn to forgive HIMYM someday.
