Free League Publishing Now Publishing Two LORD OF THE RINGS Tabletop RPGs

Sophisticated Games has found a publisher to work with on two The Lord of the Rings tabletop RPGs. The games are created by Marco Maggi and Francesco Nepitello and now Free League Publishing will be helping them. Free League has previously worked on Tales form the Loop, Forbidden Lands, and even the official Alien RPG. Tomas Härenstam, CEO of Free League said:

“We are thrilled to be working with Sophisticated Games and Francesco Nepitello to bring to life a new edition of The One Ring RPG and its 5e iteration. We grew up with J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic works and we are huge fans of the original version of the game.”

The two companies will be working together starting on June 1, and fans are excited. The two games include The One Ring and Adventures in Middle-Earth. Both games take inspiration from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, but they work very differently. According to ComicBook.com, Adventures in Middle-Earth is a modified version of Dungeons & Dragons 5E. Meanwhile, The One Ring is a unique experience. Are you excited for this new partnership?
