FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS Star Connie Britton Joins Ryan Murphy's 911 Procedural Drama
Friday Night Lights and Nashville star Connie Britton is set to join Ryan Murphy's new procedural drama series at Fox. This would reunite Britton and Murphy for the first time since they made the first season of American Horror Story. She will join the previously cast Angela Bassett and Peter Krause.
The series is called 911 and according to THR, "it explores the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives."
The details on the characters that the actors will play are being kept under wraps. There will be 13-episodes in Season 1 and it's scheduled to air midseason.
For the most part, I've enjoyed the series that Ryan Murphy is involved with like American Horror Story, American Crime, Glee, Nip/Tuck, and Feud. He's never done a series like this before, so I'm curious to see how it turns out.
