FROZEN 2 Release Has Been Moved Up a Week
If you can’t wait for the sequel to Frozen to hit theaters, I have good news. You’ll be able to watch it as early as November 22, 2019, instead of November 29, 2019. That may only be a week, but a week is a week.
Frozen 2 is set to contain the same core cast including Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, and Josh Gad as Olaf. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are also returning to direct the sequel to the 2013 hit.
In addition to letting fans see the film earlier, this also will help Disney’s other big holiday film for 2019, Star Wars: Episode IX which is set to premiere December 20, 2019.
Now, instead of only a three-week gap that could potentially hurt Episode IX’s box office, Disney is giving itself a four-week cushion. Not a bad move.
