FROZEN 3 to Be Released Thanksgiving 2027; Pixar's HOPPERS Set to Hit Theaters Spring 2026

Disney has a lot of fun and exciting projects in the works, and they are ironing out their schedule so fans can start looking forward to what’s coming next from the studio. Frozen 3 is getting the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, November 24, 2027, release date.

That’s the traditional time when Frozen and Disney animated movies have released in the past, and it’s a time when many families head to the theatre, so that’s a no brainer.

Then Pixar’s new movie, Hoppers, about a human brain inside of a beaver, is opening on March 6, 2026. Warner Bros. has their animated version of The Cat in the Hat there, so it seems that there will be some shifting before those two go head to head.

Hoppers features the voices of Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan. The title was announced on Friday at Disney’s D23 film and TV presentation at the Honda Center.

When Disney released their new schedule, they also re-emphasized that Avatar 3, now known as Avatar: Fire & Ash, is coming out on December 19, 2025.
