Full Size, Fully Functional LEGO R2-D2

This full scale and fully functional LEGO built R2-D2 is absolutely radical! It was created by Shawn and Lara Steele, and they call it LG-3O. It took them almost a year to build, and they used 16,000 bricks in its construction. They took it to Emerald City Comic-Con 2014 last week, and while there, LG-3O came face to face with a little girl named Darth Lily. That short encounter ended up being absolutely adorable, and you can watch it below. Thanks to Gizmodo for the heads up!

Lily was really cute when she met L3-G0 in her Darth Vader costume with pink sparkles on the cape. Don't worry Lily, R2-D2 hasn't forgotten your name. Lily's parents said we could post the video, but I don't have their email, if anyone knows Lily or her parents, please share!
