Full Trailer for Apple TV+'s THE MORNING SHOW Teases a Rivalry Between Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon
Apple TV+ is diving into the behind-the-scenes drama of morning news shows with their new series The Morning Show. We have a new trailer to share with you today that offers our first real look at the series, which stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell as TV reporters who are dealing with some big changes in their lives and careers.
Some of the content will seem familiar, as the trailer begins with Aniston’s morning show host reporting that her co-anchor (Carell) was fired over sexual misconduct allegations. This is similar to the whole Matt Lauer scandal at NBC. This is the event that kicks off a series, and it follows Aniston’s character as she finds herself being threatened with the end of her career after the emergence of a rising star played by Witherspoon.
The series also has a great supporting cast that includes Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Janina Gavankar, Desean K. Terry, Jack Davenport, and Nestor Carbonell.

The Morning Show is directed by Mimi Leder (Deep Impact, Pay It Forward, On The Basis of Sex) and is written by Kerry Ehrin, who also serves as showrunner. It’s set to debut on Apple TV+ this fall.
