Full Trailer for Hulu Spin-Off Series HOW I MET YOUR FATHER Starring Hilary Duff

The full trailer has been released for the spin-off series How I Met Your Father, based on the beloved CBS series How I Met Your Mother. Hilary Duff stars in the series as Sophie, and her best friends are Jesse (Chris Lowell), Valentina (Francia Raisa), Charlie (Tom Ainsley), Ellen (Tien Tran), and Sid (Suraj Sharma). Kim Cattrall plays the future version of Sophie, who is telling her kids the story of how she met their father. Daniel Augustin (David Makes Man), Josh Peck (Turner & Hooch) and Ashley Reyes (American Gods) are also in recurring roles in the series.

Here’s the show’s synopsis:

In the near future, Sophie (Hilary Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.

This show has had a lot of fans of the original pretty skeptical since its announcement, but the trailer actually looks pretty decent. I think it has a chance of being a fun series, and I am definitely willing to give it a try.
