Full Trailer For TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN: GHOST WAR Unleashes John Krasinski in a High-Stakes Spy Showdown

Prime Video just dropped the full trailer for Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, and John Krasinski obviously isn’t done with the iconic CIA analyst just yet.

This one-off movie picks up where the hit series left off, turning what was supposed to be a finished story into one more intense mission. If you thought the “final season” wrapped things up neatly, think again.

Krasinski steps back into Ryan’s shoes, and this time he’s pulled into something even messier. What starts as a trail of suspicious bank transfers quickly spirals into a globe-trotting crisis.

Ryan is dragged out from behind the desk and thrown into a deadly pursuit stretching across Europe and the Middle East. At the center of it all is a dangerous terrorist figure building toward a massive strike against the U.S. and its allies.

The film brings back some familiar faces, including Wendell Pierce as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November, giving Ryan a team that knows the game inside and out.

But they’re up against a rogue black-ops unit that seems to anticipate every move they make. That tension drives the trailer, which leans hard into urgency, strategy, and explosive action.

Sienna Miller joins the cast this time around, adding a fresh dynamic to the story alongside Betty Gabriel, Max Beesley, and Douglas Hodge. The chemistry between the returning characters and new players gives this movie more weight than a typical follow-up.

Here’s the official synopsis: "Jack Ryan returns in a major movie event. When CIA analyst Jack Ryan stumbles upon a suspicious series of bank transfers his search for answers pulls him from the safety of his desk job and catapults him into a deadly game of cat and mouse throughout Europe and the Middle East, with a rising terrorist figurehead preparing for a massive attack against the US and allies."

The project is directed by Andrew Bernstein, who’s making the jump from TV after working on series like Foundation, Ozark, and The Diplomat. The script comes from Aaron Rabin and Krasinski, based on a story by Noah Oppenheim and Krasinski, all rooted in the characters created by Tom Clancy.

While this marks the sixth movie tied to the Jack Ryan franchise, it really plays more like an extended finale to the Prime Video series that ran from 2018 to 2023. Still, the scale here looks bigger, the stakes feel sharper, and the action hits harder than what we’ve seen before.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War premieres on Prime Video worldwide on May 20, 2026.
