Full Trailer for Netflix's YOU Season 2 Features Joe Stalking a New Girl in Los Angeles
Netflix has released the full trailer for the upcoming second season of the drama thriller You. In it, the creeper Joe, played by Penn Badgley, now lives in Los Angeles to start a new life for himself under a new name, Will Bettelheim. It’s there that his eye catches a new girl named Love, who is played by Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House), and we all know things are going to end up bad.
Joe “has sworn off love. But love, like murder, has a way of tracking you down.” Joe’s new obsession, Love, is an aspiring chef. “Love is uninterested in the world of social media, branding and self-promotion, focused instead on leading an interesting life. She is also tending to a deep grief — and when she meets Joe Goldberg, she senses a shared knowledge of profound, life-changing loss.” But as you’ll see in the trailer, Joe’s past comes back to haunt him as Candace, who has discovered his true nature, has tracked him down.
You was created by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti and is based on the book by Caroline Kepnes. Season 1 premiered on Lifetime in 2018 where it completely bombed. After canceling the series it popped up on Netflix, which is where it became a huge hit. I thought the first season was great, and Season 2 looks like it’ll be even better!
You Season 2 drops on Netflix on December 26th.
