Fierce Trailer for the YELLOWSTONE Prequel Western Series 1883 - "The Road West Was Paved With Blood"
Paramount+ has released an intense and brutal full trailer for Taylor Sheridan's upcoming Yellowstone prequel series, 1883. This series tells the history of the Dutton family, and it looks like a seriously epic and fierce western! Yellowstone is an incredible show and 1883 is sure to be just as amazing. I’m excited for this story!
The series follows “the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land — Montana.”
The show has a great cast that includes Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott. McGraw and Hill will play James and Margaret Dutton, the Dutton family’s patriarch and matriarch. Elliott is playing Shea Brennan, “a tough cowboy with some underlying melancholy to be revealed as he guides the emigrants from Texas to Montana.” It also stars Billy Bob Thornton as Marshal Jim Courtright and we get a first look at him in the trailer.
1883 is set to premiere on Paramount+ on December 19th.
