Full Trailer for THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE Shows Off a Lot of Entertaining Humor
Yesterday we got a teaser trailer for The LEGO Ninjago Movie and it looked surprisingly good. Today, Warner Bros. released a full trailer, and it features a ton of entertaining footage showing off some great humor. This looks like it will be a blast and a worthy addition to the studio's LEGO movie franchise.
In this big-screen NINJAGO adventure, the battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, The Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their inner power of Spinjitzu.
The film features the voices of Jackie Chan as Master Wu; Justin Theroux as Garmadon; Dave Franco as Lloyd; and Olivia Munn as Lloyd’s mom, Koko. The supporting cast includes Fred Armisen as Cole; Abbi Jacobson as Nya; Kumail Nanjiani as Jay; Michael Peña as Kai; and Zach Woods as Zane.
The LEGO Ninjago Movie is the first feature film from director Charlie Bean (Tron: Uprising) and is set to be released on September 22.
