Full Trailer for the New Series MIRACLE WORKERS with Steve Buscemi as God and Daniel Radcliffe as an Angel

TBS has released a full trailer for their upcoming limited series Miracle Workers. This gives us our best look yet at the fantastic looking series in which Steve Buscemi plays God and Daniel Radcliffe takes on the role of an angel.

The series comes from Man Seeking Woman creator Simon Rich and is being executive produced by Lorne Michaels (SNL). I like what I’ve seen from this show so far, and it looks like it’s going to deliver some fun comedic entertainment.

The series in based on the book that Rich wrote called What in God’s Name, and the series will consist of seven episodes. It’s said to turn the “perception of heaven on its head while also making the case that humans are worth saving.”

Radcliffe plays an angel named Craig, “a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers.” Buscemi plays Craig’s boss, God, “who has pretty much checked out to focus on petty hobbies. To prevent Earth’s destruction, Craig and fellow angel Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan) must answer a seemingly impossible prayer: help two humans, Laura and Sam (played by Sasha Compere and Jon Bass), fall in love.”

The series will also feature guest stars such as Tituss Burgess, Margaret Cho, Angela Kinsey, Tim Meadows, John Reynolds, Lolly Adefope, and Chris Parnell.

Miracle Workers debuts Tuesday, February 12th at 10:30pm.

Miracle Workers premieres February 12 at 10:30/9:30c on TBS. The Heaven-set workplace comedy is based on Simon Rich's book What in God's name and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Karan Soni.
