Full Trailer Released For Marvel's CLOAK & DAGGER Season 2
While I enjoyed the first season of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, it seems there are a lot of people that don’t like the show. I guess I can see why some people don’t like it, but I personally just really like how these two characters have been handled in the show. It’s solid character development.
It’s all good, though, the show isn’t for everybody, but for those of you who have been enjoying it, Freeform has released a full trailer for you to watch! It shows us that Tyrone and Tandy will be teaming up to save the world. This one specifically deals with sex trafficking. Then there’s the anti-hero Mayhem who doesn’t have any problems killing people to save others.
Here’s the synopsis for Season 2:
Season 2 turns the heat up on our young heroes, as Tyrone and Tandy try to find their place as more active heroes in this world. As they learn and grow emotionally, so will their skills. In Season 1, we saw Tandy and Ty dip their toes into the world of hopes and fears; this season, they will dive deeper into this metaphysical pool. With enhanced powers and a choice to make about the type of heroes they want to be, they make the choice to run into the danger, head first. They tackle a heartless vigilante and uncover an evil that’s been preying on the young women of the city, as the show takes on more serious topics like gang violence and human trafficking.
The series stars Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Emma Lahana, Gloria Reuben (ER, Mr. Robot), Andrea Roth (Rescue Me, Blue Bloods), J.D. Evermore (True Detective, The Walking Dead), Miles Mussenden (Bloodline, Queen Sugar), Carl Lundstedt (Grey’s Anatomy, Conviction), and Jaime Zevallos.
The second season will premiere on April 4 on Freeform TV. The first episode of Season 2 will be a two-hour premiere event.
