Fun Details on DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Costumes and Jokes Made in the Movie About Them
While at CinemaCon last week, we got to see nine minutes of Deadpool & Wolverine footage. We shot a reaction video for that but steered clear of certain things because we didn’t want the video to contain spoilers.
There are a couple of other things I wanted to share, though, that I think fans will get a kick out of involving the costumes.
The movie starts out with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) moving on from Deadpool, he’s given up being a superhero, and he’s now making a living as a car salesman. A job that he got from good ol’ Peter.
He doesn’t even have his suit anymore when the movie begins, so where does he get the brand new shiny suit we see in the trailer? The TVA had it made for him as he embarks on a mission to save the sacred timeline.
The TVA has a tailor, a bearded old man who hilariously repeatedly gropes Deadpool as he’s fitting him with the costume. So much so, that Deadpool refers to him as a “predator.”
It’s a great fun scene, some of which was included in the trailer for the film and there’s no doubt it’s going to make fans laugh.
The footage we saw concluded with a great little joker about Wolverine’s costume, which had the whole auditorium of people busting up in laughter.
Deadpool and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) are driving in a car together in costume. Logan doesn't have his mask on, but Deadpool isn’t a fan of the Wolverine’s new look.
Deadpool says: "What's with the suit? The X-Men make you wear it? Those sons of f*cking b*tches. Friends don't make friends leave the house looking like they fight crime for the Los Angeles Rams."
And that’s when the footage came to a close! It was so much fun!
