The first full trailer has been released for Dwayne Johnson's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and the movie turned out to look a lot better than I was expecting! It actually looks like it could be a lot of fun! I love the whole avatar concept and how the main actors are really playing teenagers in these adult bodies that they now inhabit. Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart will definitely bring on the laughs. Jack Black just might steal the show as he plays a teenage girl. This is going to be an entertaining comedy adventure!
In a brand new Jumanji adventure, the tables are turned as four teenagers are sucked into Jumanji’s world – pitted against rhinos, black mambas and an endless variety of jungle traps and puzzles. To survive, they’ll play as characters from the game: meek Spencer becomes a braveexplorer (Dwayne Johnson); hulky jock Fridge becomes a tiny genius (Kevin Hart); It-girl Bethany becomes a bookworm professor (Jack Black); and unathletic Martha becomes an amazonian warrior (Karen Gillan). To beat the game and return to the real world with their lives, they’ll have to start seeing things in an entirely different way.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was directed by Jake Kasdan (Walk Hard, Bad Teacher, and Sex Tape) and it will be released in theaters on December 22nd. It'll be a great film to take the family to.
